This Privacy Policy describes how OpsMind (the "Application") handles information when you use our competitive gaming focus training app. The Application is provided by OpsMind, United Kingdom ("we", "us", or "our").
Information We Collect
OpsMind does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location inside the app. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing SDKs.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Operator profile (callsign, XP, rank, selected genres, rank goal)
- Drill results, focus session history, and training journal entries
- Intel bookmarks, daily missions, achievements, and streak data
- App settings (focus duration, haptics, accent intensity, notification preferences)
- Cached game suggestion results from public API queries
Third-Party Content Services
To suggest games by genre, the app may request public game titles from the RAWG games database when you browse related content. Only generic search terms (such as "tactical shooter" or "strategy war") are sent — not your profile, drill scores, or personal training data. Results are cached on your device. If the service is unavailable, built-in offline suggestions are used instead.
How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to profile, share, or sell. All app features — drills, intel library, ops log, loadout, and focus sessions — operate using data stored on your device.
Data Storage & Retention
Your progress is saved in the app's private storage on your device (Application Support directory). There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us. You can reset all progress from settings at any time. Deleting the app permanently removes associated local data from your device.
Notifications & Live Activity
If you enable optional notifications (daily briefing reminder or streak at-risk alert) or Live Activity for focus sessions, those features use Apple's system frameworks on your device. We do not receive the content of your Lock Screen or notification data on our servers.
Widgets
Home Screen widgets display your streak and daily mission status using data shared locally between the app and widget extension on your device. This data is not transmitted to us.
Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, the app is suitable for general audiences under COPPA and similar standards.
Your Control
You can edit your callsign, clear bookmarks, reset all progress, or uninstall the Application to remove stored content from your device at any time.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local storage, no accounts, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
